Entry ensures that TIME’s editorial team is aware of the incredible work and impact that you and your team are creating. The final, unranked list will include companies sourced from applications as well as from TIME’s independent reporting.
Even if we already know about your company, we may not be aware of a particular achievement or milestone—the application offers an opportunity to share these essential updates with our team.
THE SELECTION PROCESS
Entries are considered by TIME’s editorial team and evaluated on a number of criteria including:
- Relevance
- Impact
- Innovation
- Leadership
- Ambition
- Success
All told, TIME will recognize 100 companies from around the world across a variety of sectors, including health care, entertainment, technology, transportation, retail, energy and more.
And for the first time this year, companies that apply now will also be considered for additional lists TIME will publish in 2023, centered on sustainability, innovation, and startups.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT IF MY COMPANY IS RECOGNIZED ON THIS LIST?
The full TIME100 Most Influential Companies list will be published in summer 2023. The list will appear across:
- TIME’s print magazine (18 million monthly readers globally)
- TIME’s website (35 million monthly unique visitors)
It will be promoted across TIME’s social channels, including:
- Twitter (19.4 million followers)
- Facebook (13.3 million fans)
- Instagram (11.9 million followers)
There is a possibility that one or more executives from the TIME100 Most Influential Companies list will be featured on a cover of TIME, as well.
The companies chosen for the list will then become part of the exclusive TIME100 Companies community—a networking group that TIME business and tech editors return to throughout the year for coverage, expertise, and events.

The Categories
Who is eligible to submit a company for the list?
Any company, organization, agency, or individual employed by the company or carrying out marketing on behalf of a company that has had significant impact or hit a major milestone between April 1, 2022, and June 15, 2023. Please see our official rules for more details about eligibility.
Is there an application fee?
Entries for 2023 have now closed.
Can I submit more than one company?
Yes, provided that you complete a separate application for each one.
When will the list be published?
Summer 2023. Exact timing will be announced at a later date.
Where will the list be published?
The full TIME100 Most Influential Companies list will be published in summer 2023. The list will appear across:

Is the list ranked?
No, the list is not ranked. All 100 companies are designated as the Most Influential Companies of 2023.
How will my company be recognized by TIME?
At minimum, if we select your company to appear on the list, it will receive a short write-up outlining what it does and why it’s influential. The companies chosen for the list will then become part of the exclusive TIME100 Companies community—a networking group that TIME business and tech editors return to throughout the year for coverage, expertise, and events. Select companies may also appear on the cover of TIME.
And for the first time this year, companies that apply now will also be considered for additional lists TIME will publish in 2023, centered on sustainability, innovation, and startups.
How could my company be promoted in connection with the list?
TIME cannot make guarantees about external promotion. However, last year, TIME’s Most Influential Companies list received extensive global media coverage.
You and/or your company will also have the option to license TIME100 Most Influential Companies content and seal for use in your own marketing and promotional materials.
What's the application deadline?
All applications must be received on or before Mar. 1, 2023 at 11:59:59 p.m. PT.
When will I know if my invention has been named to the final list?
We will notify applicants on a rolling basis beginning in or around June 2023.
